Exporting AIFs with plug ins

Postby jukehouse » Mon Jan 17, 2005 1:38 pm

When exporting an audio track from Metro as an AIF do Audio Unit plug ins, that have been added by dragging the plug in into the effects window for that track, export as part of the track? I exported an audio track to which I added some Dynamic Processor. It seems the track showed up "dry" as an AIF.

jukehouse,

To get the exported track to reflect the wet signal of the plug-in you will need to use the Mix or Render Audio Tracks option from the file menu. Simply select the audio for the amount of time you want and then mix. This will create a new stereo track with the selected sample rate and bit depth that refelects the wet signal. Then export the new track.
