Chord Entry Method Question

What is the difference of theese settings?

I know it changes Rythm Explorers behaviour pretty subsstancially ,
but what is the "rule" behind the settings?

It seems to me that normal behaves pretty melodic,
keep chord notes seems to "smooth out" the transistions
random...no clue.
And keep same bass notes... sounds like a mix of the first two,
not so melodic than normal not so "smoothed out" than the second one?
(But in general sequences tend to not "jump around the scale" that much on that setting?)

But again, no real idea, just guessing...

This enters the chord exactly as defined in the scale/chord dialog

keep chord notes

Find the closest matches for all new notes that occur from chord to chord. So for example a C to F chord change would be C1, E1, G1 followd by C1, F1, A1

random...

Randomly transposes notes up or down between 0, 1 or 2 octaves.

Same as keep chord notes but also preserve bass note I believe.
