Changes unique to this version:

IMPORTANT: Metro Documents written with version 6.0.7.x will NOT be readable in any Metro/Metro SE version prior to 6.0.7!

A new feature in the graphic editor largely enhances keyboard support by using the '[' and ']' key to select notes. The '[' selects the note to the left of the cursor and the ']' selects the note to the right. Then the arrow keys can be used to nudge the selection left and right and the velocity up and down.

Added code to fix -224 disk too slow errors. This problem occured only on audio devices whose input and outputs are not synchronized such as any USB device that uses Apple's generic driver. These devices include the iMic, EZBus and others.

Another problem related to those USB Audio devices was also fixed. There was a persistency problem where the output side of the device was not always being saved and restored properly when Metro restarted.

Cosmetic change of the goto button in the list editor.

Musical Location support was added for Audio Units (AU).
Improvements in AU support for beat position and Mix Down.
Better compatibility with the new AU, Novation V-Station,
Better stability in some plug-ins.
Fixed problem with synth plug-in tracks going out of sync when doing real time editing while cue-looping.

The window positions of plug-ins is now restored properly when a document is re-loaded.

Fixed problem with dragging notes when constrained that was causing unwanted pitch or time changes in some cases.
Fixed problem on OS X where numeric velocity data was not being displayed in the graphic editor in some cases.

Fixed a problem where cosmetic problems were occuring in the tracks window when playback scrolling was set to 'all'.

Metro in OS X no longer checks for processor overload upon playback. This means no more erroneous error messages about the processor being too slow.

Audio optimizations for plug-ins under OS X should show some minor speed improvements.

Checksums can now be added to sysex messages assigned to sliders. Use SS for checksum. This feature has not been completely tested.

Other minor changes.

Wow look at all the changes that can happen when we don't hassle you. :D

I'll have to come back later and download it. Its currently going at 67 bytes/sec and says it will take 14 hours.

If metro no longer checks for cpu overload will it just stutter when its reached? I think I get this with too many sound fonts running. Time for a DP Mac 8)

Yes. The operating system and Core Audio do checks for processor hogs, and take appropriate action.
