Metro 6.3.2.2 pre-release

Postby Jerm » Mon Aug 29, 2005 10:21 am

Upgrades from 6.2 are free. All new purchases include access to this version. There is an upgrade price of $34.99 to upgrade any flavor of Metro from 6.x to 6.3.2.

Download it here:

IMPORTANT: The official system requirements have changed as of 6.1.

IMPORTANT: Metro Documents written with this version will NOT be readable in any version prior to Metro/Metro SE version 6.3.2.

IMPORTANT: This pre-release (Metro and Metro SE) still works under OS 9 but we are no longer providing Tech support for OS 9. This will most likely be the last OS 9 release as it is getting increasingly harder to support OS 9.

IMPORTANT: This is a pre-release, meaning it has some bug fixes (and possibly features) that were deemed important enough to be released before it could be rigorously tested.

We want our software to be bug free. If you find any bugs please report them here.

The following list includes changes to Metro, Metro SE and Metro LX. Some changes may not be applicable to specific products.

New to this version: 6.3.2.2
• New: The Core Audio overload detection dialog only appears if the audio packet size is less than 512 and there is an option to not show the dialog again.
• New: AudioUnit plug-ins that have custom parameter display names are now shown in the graphic editor.

• Fixed: Plug-ins with more than 2 audio outputs now work correctly when placed on the rewire aux buss.
• Fixed: The continuous data dialog was creating aliasing on plug-in effect parameters when the 'scale by' option was selected.
• Fixed: A rounding error occurred in the display of certain plug-in effect parameters.
• Fixed: A buzzing sound could occur if a plug-in was bypassed on an aux buss if the plug-in had more than 2 audio outputs.
• Fixed: MIDI Export was broken in 6.3.2.
• Fixed: Loop recording has been improved.
• Fixed: Improved internal Metronome especially during cueing or loop recording.
• Fixed: If using 'Honor core MIDI time stamps', recording from external sync was not working.
• Fixed: It was possible, after closing rewire, that MIDI would stop outputting.
• Fixed: After mixing audio with tracks that contain independent track loops, it was possible that the lengths of those tracks could be erroneously changed.
• Fixed: A problem was introduced in 6.3.2 that caused audio to briefly play directly after recording was stopped.
