Windows in the dock

Postby Scoot » Thu Aug 28, 2003 10:48 pm

I have 2 windows open - graphic editor and the mixer but this actually works with any combination.

If I quit and relaunch metro they are both there.

If I put one of then in the dock, quit and relaunch metro they are both still there.

If I put them both in the dock and quit and relaunch metro they are nowhere to be seen. This seems to happen if I have 4-5 windows open and they're all in the dock.

The transport window is on "float" if that's an issue.
In fact if I turn it off and save preferences it comes back floating again.
Does it always float now? (unless closed :-))

The transport only floats if the float transport switch is checked.

Yes.
The problem I've got is I can uncheck it, save preferences, restart metro and its on again.

Surely if preferences are saved it should remain off.

The window problem was found by mistake......well I was clearing the desktop area and threw every window of metro down into the dock and in that position quit the program.

Okay I understand. I will take a looksie. It is likely that it is not saved with prefs and this is a bug.

Note that unfotunately this will push back the pre-release.

I'll shut up.

Can we have a sneak peak at the shaded midi graphic editor?
