Bug w/ dragging frozen tracks in mixer

Postby DMorrell » Tue Jun 26, 2018 1:56 am

Metro 7.2.4 Intel Mac

If I freeze a VI track, and then move the newly-created audio output in the mixer channel, it no longer plays back. "Error: Audio is being routed to an audio device that does not exist or is disabled...."

how to recreate:
1 - new document
2 - instantiate a new VI plugin from the tracks window (In my case, Play v5)
tracks window show track 1 output is set to "play-1"
mixer window shows 16 new outputs for Play
3 - add midi notes to channel 1 track via graphic editor
4 - freeze track 1
mixer window shows new output channel assigned to audio output device, labeled "Avid 002..."
5 - playback works as expected
6 - move "Avid..." output channel in mixer to another slot by grabbing label and dragging left
7 - playback broken, "error: Audio is being routed...."

If I then move the "Avid..." output channel in mixer back to where it was created, it works again.

Thanks,
