Crash on Save or Save As on Intel

Postby goofaman » Sun Jul 09, 2006 5:04 am

Working on a MBP (Intel) 2.16 with 2 GB of RAM and OS 10.4.7:

I get a repeatable crash whenever I Save or Save As... right after the operation is completed.

Good news is the data is all there and can be loaded, so nothing is lost except some time restarting the program. This happens every time for me.

(Both my bugs this evening are with the prerelease 6.3.5.6 UB version.)

Does it happen with bundle files as well? If so (or if you can repeat it without any audio files) email me the metro document. Please zip or stuff it first. Thank you. Also if you can, please email me the crash log.

I did report crashes to Jerm with 6.3.5.5 that seem to have gone with 6.3.5.6.

Metro would quit on a save and my files were not recoverable.

I found it happening with particular soundfonts loaded onto midi tracks and other soundfonts having no problems at all.
Put it down to odd or non conforming (to intel mac) soundfonts.

This problem disappeared when he removed his preferences file.
